Listening to: DJ Shadow - Six Days
Feeling: Weird
Itai
If you're gonna ask if it's painful, I would be lying if I said no.
Hurts like a bitch.
Feels so weird...
Have you ever felt as though you've lost the ability to cry? I'm feeling that now and I feel bloated.
Crap...
Wish me luck!

Life is...
Listening to: The sound of silence and a/c
Feeling: Amazed
You know, I've grown up in a lower-middle class family and we never had too much cash to spare. Poor? Sometimes... Happy? When we are not too worried about the big M (Not McDonald's idiots)
To us, money is used to buy essentials like food, clothes (when they are too freaking stretched to the point of no return), books (no story books mind you, the textbook kind) and the occasional treat.
So can you imagine the shock I had to deal with when I saw this?
Dude, to be totally honest, I am freaking out here. One of those boxes could hold us (my whole family) up for a whole month. Like one commented, 'That's a whole lot of Hermes in one house'. No shit Sherlock.. I suspect even a celeb couldn't afford that much...
No offense to Exofex *check out her blog for more scary pictures of overindulgence* I just couldn't comprehend the amount of money that she must have. It's scary. Please tell me how can people get so freaking rich? I wish she could donate one, just one of those bags to me so I can clear off my credit card bill, my car loan for the month and get me my passport. Sigh... Maybe then I can smoke Malboros again. Donations anyone?
Unfair!

The future
Listening to: Panic! At the Disco - I write sins not tragedies
Feeling: Sleepy
Now that the excitement of me going to HK has died down, I am beginning to think straight. It's gonna be hell of a month again, July. I will be writing another feature because of the trip, plus all the styling stuff that I have to do and plus me taking three days off... I think I might just die this time.
But whatever it is, I shall try to survive and post sometimes. Bitch Chin/Miranda Priestly/Bitch please don't be evil and understand. anonymouswhomiknowisgg don't laugh but I think I might be foregoing some yamcha sessions.
I wanna pick up some freelancing as well to help pay for my uncontrollable spending. Maybe I should try curbing my expensive smoking habit. Tried smoking a cheaper brand (RM5.50 compared to RM7) but I'm still short. In case you've not realized, I've dropped my expensive coffee habit too. Weekends are now spent sleeping around at home.
Sigh... Cutting corners are no fun. But when the need arises and you have to do it, you have no choice. O well... Thinking if I should bring my laptop for this trip, if I am I will definitely update pinkyinthesky.

Missing phone
Listening to: Asian Kung-Fu Generation - Kimi to iu hana
Feeling: Hangovered...
Drinking is bad.... Very, very bad. Plus, drinking makes you lose all your senses and you will not feel that your handbag is taken from under the table by cleaners.
That's what happened, we were getting sloshed and my handbag was under the table. As far as I can remember, there was always someone at our table I was on the table 70% of the night, very very drunk. But I can still remember no one could have came over to our table. Suddenly we realized the handbag was gone and we were looking around for it and the security asked if we were missing a bag and brought us to the bag counter.
My bag was ransacked, money all taken out, mine and Nini's hand phone gone. Credit cards and ID still intact thank goodness. I am just pissed off by the fact that the security were trying to push the blame away from them. They kept telling us it has been found for about an hour. I had to stop him and say, 'look, I don't care when you found it but I just want to let you know that no one else apart from the cleaners came near our table.' I sort of wonder if the security people are in it as well.. so suspicious!!!!
OK, lesson learnt. Never go back to Zouk. Security there sucks. Big time.
Sigh... I need a new phone.

What the...
Listening to: Asian Kungfu Generation - Rewrite
Feeling: Blah
I was reading yesterday's newspaper while having my late lunch today and my eyes fell on a short article about how PAS doesn't like having kongsi raya celebrations. Well for those who don't know, kongsi raya occurs when the Hari Raya and Chinese New Year fall around the same dates.
Apparently, they have nothing with people from other races visiting each other but they don't like to share the kongsi raya. HUH? I really don't understand. Someone please elaborate. It's not like we purposely set the dates for the new years to fall near each other. We have shorter holidays because of that. The Chinese New Year is usually around February while the Hari Raya shifts around according to the calendar (or moon, I'm not sure). I would think that this has been a non issue for the longest time so why are they bringing this up now?
Someone please explain before I pull all my hair out from frustration at their stupidity!!!

We heart MELAKA!
Listening to: Mika Nakashima - Will
Feeling: Half Alive
We heart Melaka!!!
We decided that work was just too mundane and boring so we decided that we deserve another short trip. Where else can you go that is within a 2 hours drive with fun stuff to do?
Melaka of course! Loads of food, loads of places to take nice pictures at and Jonker Street on the weekend! Fuh~
We started off fresh and early at 10am. (supposedly start out at 7am but then yours truly and someone else woke up late. LOL). Dropped by in Seremban for Hakka Mee and beef brisket noodles at the wet market.
Would have taken pictures of the Hakka Mee too if we hadn't scarfed it down so fast
Hopped into the car to buy the famous Seremban siew pau. We went to the factory ok... Since we're there, we just had to do a few poses before we leave~
Everyone was looking! Cam hos!
After getting them paus we headed towards Melaka for real...
Once we got there, we looked around for a parking so we can walk the whole Jonker Street. Ohman.. it is so jammed! Finally got a place to park. Note: They have a different parking ticket system. It's kinda like Singapore where you have to buy a prepaid ticket and scratch off the date and time you parked.
Went to the famous red tower... Took more pictures...
FunFun with icecream
Scary Nini with icecream
Sarah N likes her icecream
Kst... er.. enjoying his
Pinkity likes to suck
Then we headed over to the opposite side of the road. Very nice beer garden there with good service. Very pleasant people. I highly recommend!
Doing what we do best!
You know... lounging in the sunshine on a Saturday afternoon is one of the bestest things to do!
This is life!
Kst is happiest here!
I am the happiest like this
E-ni-mini-myni-mo
Hanging out yo!
After getting our alco fix, we walked across the river to Jonker Street, where we embarked on our eating spree!
Scenic river
Started off with popiah, then chinese sweets, ping tong wu loh. It's basically fruits dipped in maltose sugar then dried so there is a crunchy sugar shell around the fruits. Nice!
Kiwi ping tong wu loh. Nice!
Greedy GG having them all...
Then moved on to maltose sweets. Damn miss those times when we were much younger and those sweets goes for only 20cents per stick (It's RM1 per stick now). We went through everything that Jonker Street had to offer. And of course no one goes off without trying the famous satay celup
Might seem gross to some of you but its gastronomic delight to others
Nothing fantastic... I don't like fishballs and stuff like that, so maybe that's why I didn't enjoy it as much as the others.
Walked around for a while taking pictures then we left...
Detail of temple roof
Gangstas of Jonker Street
Melaka was alright... It was a great budget trip... Came home with a thinner wallet but fatter stomach. :p
Till next month (Pulau Kapas here we come!)

Birthday Wish
So many things, so little time
Listening to: Yuna Ito - Endless Story
Feeling: Blog-xited
After posting the previous post, I feel the need to blog. There are so many things to update. Me and Gem's birthday, our trip to Melaka, work, my crazy neighbor, our upcoming trip to Pulau Kapas, ups and downs for the past month and things like that.
I swear when I get the chance I will be uploading all my pictures into flickr.com it will be a long, long post...
But I feel that I need to explain why I had not been blogging for such a long time. And since this involves work, this post will most prolly turn out to be some bitch rant about work. *consider yourself warned*
So I had so busy I hardly had time to think. Ever since last month, I had been in charge of styling all feature columns which will make me, Head Slave? Basically I need to collect all the clothes needed for the people interviews and stuff like that. Now Bitch-Chin before you say anything, I need to stress I have my regular 9 columns (now 11) columns to hand in and do keep in mind that I am handling nearly 5 feature shoots plus 2 shoots that is mine. On top of all that, the returning, the loaning and the shit-picking up. All mine too! Oh if not for the love of my job, I would have killed myself.
Argh... To have time to blog is more like a luxury to me. Sigh.. I would love to have time to sleep, more money to use and more holidays.
I am so tired my bitch juice is running dry. I need another cigarette. Laterz...

Easy come, easy go
Listening to: Mika Nakashima - Glamorous Sky
Feeling: Half dead
Just got back from the office and I am so god damned sleepy but I just have to do this before I drop dead on my bed.
It's been nearly a month since I've last blogged and I would like to announce that FunFun and her boy broke up about 3 days ago. It's fast I know, but I guess that's how relationships that had started off with uncertainty go. Whatever she had experienced, I feel as though I could relate to it. It kind of reminded me of Moo. Ah.. it's just one of those days when you feel nostalgic. I feel like killing him again.
Heard from Kst that day that he is playing the field again. Made me feel like sitting on him while slapping him. Meanwhile, FunFun can wear her nice Nine West stilettos and kick/stomp/pierce/ball his eyes out. Ah.. revenge is a dish best served cold. I like. I feel extremely nostalgic, so sue me!
FunFun will live on definitely, with the help of her sisters... (that means Sarah N, G and me!)
