It's a Flying Dog I swear!

Listening to: My Sassy Girl - I Believe
Feeling: Eh, what the?

It was one of those "I wanna do it now" things that I can only credit stress to.

It was a Friday evening when I realized my car a/c had gone wonky AGAIN. So I decided to send it yet again to the mechanic's only to be told that I need to service the a/c. Alright, I said I shall wait and watch Animax while I'm at it.

Halfway through, Mr. Mechanic popped in and said that one of the parts are also gone, so I need to change it. Another 10 mins or so he popped in again to say another part needs to be changed. Man, I felt pissed!!! Dialed Borneo Ink's number to make a reservation for the next day. Hell... I didn't even have the pattern I wanted to do. All I know is I want one on my neck.

The very next day...

Mr.Artist that day was this cutie from the Australia named Phil

It's not painful at all... It feels kinda like constant rubbing on your skin

Image023
Ladi-da.. Just another day at work

Du...h, what did she ask for again? An angel or a dustbin?

Image028
Don't ask me what it is... It's for me to know and for you to find out!

Heading off to Sekeping Serendah soon! This weekend actually... Will take loads of piccies... till then...

Chilling out at Midori, Cineleisure

Listening to: Maaya Sakamoto - Yubiwa (Acoustic Version)
Feeling: Lazy to do anything else but blog

When I was slightly more freer about a month back, me, SarahN and Kst decided to check out Cineleisure's Midori Japanese IceCream Parlour (or something). It's situated on the second floor of Cineleisure and has seriously the cutest chairs and table outside. Thumbs up to the pink and white decor but boo! cause there is no smoking section.

Midori

SarahN and Kst looking cute in front of the signboard

There are loads of authentic Japanese dessert on the menu and they also serve limited Japanese food. They are after all a dessert place.

They have loads of odd drinks there. Like Kst decided to be adventurous and ordered the Green Tea with Milk.

Green Tea with Milk
Ocha with Gyunyu

SarahN says it's alright. To me, it looks... well... green. Should give it a try the next time I'm back there.

Me and SarahN decided to stick to the normal green tea. It's refillable!!!

Ocha
Ocha!

We couldn't resist ordering their Azuki Ice topped with ice cream (I forgot what it's called but it really tasted like our ice kacang), Summer Fruit Ice and Mochi with Azuki beans.

Red Bean Tower
A blessing during hot, sweltering days

The Azuki beans were pretty sweet and the macha syrup was refreshingly sweet with a tinge of bitterness (I like!). The soft serve ice-cream on top gave an amazing contrast of texture with the shaved ice. Will definitely order this again but to share as you might get sick of the whole thing by the end of your meal.

Summer Love
The pretty paper umbrella did me in

This pretty summer themed ice was absolutely heaven as the day was hot and muggy. Filled to the brim with puree mango and fruits, it was a steal at RM15.90! You might want to share this as it is sweet and in the end, you'll be left with nothing but sweet mango water. Finish it before the ice melts.

The Mochi was delightful as well but sweet. Sweet tooths will enjoy this! We figured the right way to eat it was to take bits of the Mochi (no flavour) with a spoonful of Azuki beans (sweet!) and munch them together. Bliss!

We didn't manage to take a picture of the Mochi as we dug right into it the moment it arrived. Pricing is pretty alright, we paid about RM20 each for the whole lot and the portions were reasonable. In fact, we had so much extra!

See SarahN's face...

So-So LA
EKK!

Don't be fooled by her face, she really liked it!

Till I am free again!!!

The Tragedy Continues

Listening to: My Chemical Romance - I'm not OK, I promise
Feeling: Bummed cause I'm working now

I'm serious when I say things are feeling pretty tragic these past few weeks in my previous post. Well, it's not like super bad things like my car breaking down etc... but people around me are getting a case of tragictitis as well.

Take for instance, SarahN; she got into an accident last week and since it was her mistake she had to fork out about RM2k for damages on her car and the person on the receiving end's car. And to top it off, the couple who was in the other car when the accident happened lectured her in the middle of the road. Crazy!!! It was an accident, why do they want to lecture? SarahN said sorry to no end and they continued spitting saliva on her scolding her and asking her why she was so careless. UGH! Makes me wanna hit their face ok...

Then a few days later, Nini's car broke down cause the battery died on her in Damansara Perdana. Thank goodness she got it sorted out quickly.

Last but not least and also one of the reason why I had not been blogging for the past few weeks is cause my laptop keyboard kinda dieded on me. Well, not all the keys. Just the letter 'S'.

SO FUCKING SAD OK? Imagine... I can't type things like 'Sucker', 'Kiss my Ass' or 'Sadass' anymore because as you can see, they contain a huge amount of the alphabet 'S'. I am at the moment, copying the letter 'S' and pasting them onto my document when seen fit. It's tedious and I rather not do it. And what fun it is when you can't swear while blogging?

Another thing is that work is getting kinda crazy nowadays with us organizing the company trip and having to quickly trying to catch up on work on my end (It is a Sunday today by the way, and I am in the office.) and it's beginning to feel as though this nasty cycle isn't gonna end anytime soon.

It's Mother's Day today as well and I kinda forgot to wish Mom as I dashed out of the house to work. Oh well, just another tragic week. I am wishing the month would fast forward to the third week of May and then we can leave for Sekeping Serendah for our much awaited break!

Me and SarahN are trying to be all healthy and we are heading to the hills on the weekend for morning walks. Let's just put it this way, I wake up even earlier than getting to work! But it was really fun cause the park was green and there was even a waterfall! Will be going back there the next week, anyone game?

Tragedy~

Listening to: Wind blowing! It's a windy night
Feeling: SICK!!! T.T

Sometime I feel 'Tragic' is my middle name... What? Do I heard some people out there calling me a Drama Queen? Puh-LEase! Let me tell you about my tragic week

1. It's a wonderful week! Tuesday and Wednesday holiday = 3 day work week. TRAGEDY STRIKES! Came Sunday (3 days before that wonderful holiday which by the way was Labor Day), Pink falls sick. Monday was the day Pink and colleagues go out for happening night with Boss. Pink FALLS SICK!! Pink also missed out on alcohol and ciggies. WHAT THE FUCK! So while colleagues and Boss goes for round 2, Pink goes home cause she can't breathe.

2. So Pink drives home, thinking about going for a short drink with Nini and Cin which then she will go see the doctor's... THEN TRAGEDY STRIKES AGAIN At 12am, which is on Labor Day, Pink discovers that doctors gets the day off during Labor Day as well. While driving around Taman Tun and Damansara Utama with a hacking cough and bleary eyes, she discovers all clinics were closed. Pink goes home

3. Wednesday Pink nosebleeds the second time cause the weather was too hot. BK, Cin's husband says it's unnatural for adults to nosebleed. *is it because it shows that you're hentai?* Freaked out abit

4. Thursday Pink got real sick cause MommaPink cooked Chicken Chop the night before and HeroPink terus makan sahaja and realized that freshly fried chicken chop is shit for your throat. Pink goes on MC meaning she goes see the doctor *for real this time* KISAH TRAGIS Doctor says Pink has got mild asthma. BUTbubutbutbutbtubtubtutbutbutbut.... I had never had asthma EVER... EVER~ It's just too tragic...

So the tragedy is that Pink ain't no young girl now...

Eppzzz! Birthday coming up soon!! SNIFF, I don't wanna grow up!

Kisah Tragis Si Pink!

More to come....

My Funny Family and Me

Listening to: Mflo feat Maki Nomiya - Cosmic Night Run
Feeling: Amused!

I might not have blogged about this but I have the cutest set of family + extended family.

I just got an email from my aunt Jess today. She was back from the UK to spend a few weeks with us. She got me the cutest bag for my birthday (don't ask why I've already opened it but I did) but I think she thinks that the bag is not sufficient.

So back to the email, dear Auntie Jess explained that she was on her flight back to the land of the Union Jack. And sitting beside her was this guy from Germany (I think, I wasn't reading it properly because by the time I got to this part I was giggling like mad already) and they got talking (hey, it's a 20 odd hours flight!). It got to why you're in Malaysia, yadda yadda yadda my aunt found out that he's here on a business trip, where he's staying during his stay and what he's doing...

And so the story goes, I guess my aunt had a brainwave... (Warning: This is all figments of my imagination)

Jess-ku: So you're here on business trip? What do you do? (brain whirring into action. Single Niece + Nice German Guy = NOT SO SINGLE NIECE MAYBE?)

Nice German Guy: Yeah, I'm working for Company $$. Here on a business trip now flying to XX country for another assignment. Love Malaysia, such warm people. Love the culture *and all the usual tourist bullshit*

Jess-ku: So, will you be coming back to Malaysia anytime soon? (Single Niece + Nice & RICH German Guy = WOOT!)

NGG: Yeah. There will be a couple more project I'd be working on here in Malaysia.

Jess-ku: Must be hard for you traveling around alone like this. How old are you anyway? *Fingers crossed around the same age!!!!!*

NGG: Oh, yeah long distance relationships are hard to maintain. I've got a girlfriend in XX country and it IS hard flying around and being to meet on regular basis. I'm 26.

Jess-ku: *eyes glinting* Look, I've got a niece in Malaysia who prolly won't mind taking you out and about. She's a really nice girl around your age! It would be nice to make a new friend no? (Single Niece + N&RGG + Girl Friend On The Other Side Of The World = Love Story Waiting to Happen)

Hahaha... Well, not that it really happened but since she got most of the above information for me I could only imagine what happened.

I really love Aunt Jess. She's one of my favorite aunties. My mom insists that I kinna look like her but alas! I didn't inherit her pleasant temper. According to my mom, my temper is exactly like the Queen Bee; you know, wants everything for herself... (I just thought that I inherited MOM's temper. She used to throw clogs around when she was pissed off) when Auntie Jess is the most forgiving and even tempered person EVAR! And I mean EVAR! She never gets pissed off even when I played with her lipstick when I was much younger... That's just another story...

She even got me his EMAIL addy! Ah.. SO CUTE.. too cute! hahahah

So I replied her and said that I won't mind making a new friend and got her email my email addy to him so he can email me. Hey, a girl's gotta play a little hard to get right?

More stories on my cute family when I have the time, meaning this weekend or the following Tuesday cause it's a public holiday!

Woot!

Feeling: Like I should be asleep!

One day someone will send this over to my office for me!

*glittery stars coming out of eyes*

Drama's Big All Day

Listening to: Ashlee Simpson - Just let me cry
Feeling: Bloated!

I've been lazy I know!!! I have more than a dozen of pictures I so need to upload and post but... Sigh, I'm just uber lazy and I have no excuses. Anywayz, this I really HAVE to put up...

Our dear Drama celebrated his 18th *ahem* birthday and we went to this funky Moroccan karaoke joint. Really comfy!! It had beds and loads of cushions *and which he took one of them home.. It's like his birthday present from the joint!* It was really cool, the whole place. Only downside is that it's kinda warm and it had a really bad selection of songs...

I think we did ALL the Spice Girls songs they had, TWICE! So without any further ado, we present to you our hasil-hasil cam-whoring...

Bday Boy

School Daze

Listening to: Third Eye Blind - Deep inside of you
Feeling: LOLICHIN! Can sleep don't want to sleep!

Well, if my high school life was a musical, mine would be a freaking 11 year long orchestra performance. BORING.

Apart from my wonderful dear friend NickyBoy, who provides most of the drama in my school daze in forms of acne, me crying on his shoulder, me trying (but failing) to cheat in exams, skipping PE lessons and me smuggling comics into school, there was nothing much to harp about.

Of course there is Carebarebear Joe, AhLan and MissTan and our sporadic fall outs and such but that's another story. (I still love them all the same!!!)

So it was after high school that things started looking up. (social life as in going out-wise) Mom allowed me to stay out later than 7pm. (I WAS A NERD I KNOW! THE ELDEST ALWAYS GET IT THE HARDEST!) and I started going out for yamcha and got hooked on to my first addiction; Counter Strike. I used to go for Cyber Cafe outings nearly everyday at one point... That stopped after we got robbed in the cyber-cafe one day... Minus that last bit, it was one of the best years of my life.

So when Andrew called us up that day to ask the CS gang out for dinner, and I swear to God I've not seen him for the longest time (think years...) and the only logical question to shoot him with was

"ARE YOU GETTING MARRIED?" *his phone call woke me up, what? It was after all a Saturday!*

But it was not cause of that... He apparently wanted to have a reunion and also to have dinner at Nigel's new restaurant at Sunway Damansara, QuiZin. It's really good BTW... Try their trademark Tofu... YUM!

So we went, we saw, we remembered those good old days...

It was great catching up. Made me feel really old that day. It had been 7 long years since we wore our *ugly* turquoise pinafores and duck droppings green pants. 7 years was such a long time back then.

Reminiscing now, I know I didn't get to do what I originally wanted to do back then and I wonder if the rest felt the same.

We didn't stay there long enough for me to ask that and I hope that chance to catch up again will come sometime really soon.

High school now seem so long ago...

Plate too full!!!

Listening to: Linkin Park - Forgotten
Feeling: Tired

Ugh, looks like I've committed myself to too many things at the same time leaving me with nothing much but too much work and stress that results in hair-pulling actions and pricked fingers.

In between sewing for Drama, baking cupcakes and working I'm trying to squeeze in some sleep (and blogging time). I guess it's not working too well as I'm getting sick so frequently I'm wondering if there is something wrong with me.

Now that the sewing is done, then I should start bucking up on sleep and hence improve my work productivity. My brain has been squeezed dry and I couldn't write a single thing for the past few days! Scary...

I shall be back by next week!!!

P/S: Just had the most fantastic cupcakes at Marmalade in Bangsar Village II. OMG... It's so good I nearly creamed my pants... A must try I swear!!!

P/S/S: So obsessed with cupcakes these days!

On the topic of being fat

Listening to: Mika Nakashima - Seppun
Feeling: Amused

I love how they always make such a serious issue into a comedy. Put a stick thin Korean actress (or Gwyneth Paltrow. Or someone equally sticklike. Cause the fat suit only comes on XS size) into a fat suit and get the audience to sympathize with you...

Poster
Korean version of Shallow Hal?

"The comedy about plastic surgery has attracted appearance-conscious Koreans with its humorous tale of an extremely overweight singer, the 'ghost voice' behind a lip-syncing pop star. Fed-up of being ill-treated due to her weight, she hasdrastic full-body surgery, reappearing as a slim and sexy sensation. The film is based on a best-selling Japanese comic book series by Yumiko Suzuki and directed by KIM Yong-hwa who previously revealed his talent for comedies with his feature debut, Oh! Brothers (2003). Please find the attached are the brief details of the movie. Actress KIM has also been at the top of the pop charts for singing the film's theme song "Maria". KIM was the recipient of Digital Music Awards "Song of the Month", presented by homepage service provider Cyworld, for the song downloaded the most by its users. The success of the song and music video have helped keep the film in the public spotlight."

I guess this only confirms my theory that all fat people are funny!

BTW, I wanna watch this... sounds like a bloody feel good movie!

"I'm not fat; I'm just in denial!"

Listening to: Garbage - Special
Feeling: Awake

Being fat has its goods and bads..

The Bad
1. Cannot buy cheap nice clothes. Everything in Dorothy Perkin costs a month's pay.
2. People in the lift looks at you when a suspicious smell is present
3. You take up more space in the booth seat
4. Might die sometime soon from some heart disease or high blood pressure... that sorta thing.
5. Always have to hide behind 2 thin person when taking a group picture.

The Good
1. You always get the front passenger seat in the car if it's a cramp and all the thin people are all sardined behind.
2. You always get value for money clothes. Imagine RM29.90 for a S sized top and also RM29.90 for XL sized top! So untung!!!
3. People understand when you go for thirds during a buffet.
4. People always think you are funny. I mean, all fat people are funny. Like Roseanne. And Margaret Cho...
5. People always offer you chocolates. They naturally assume you like them!

So yes the good and bad being fat.

So you're wondering why I'm writing about this? Well, it started off as me and Seems talking one day and I remembered this funny incident involving me, G and her cousin, let's call him Dave...

So we were having drinks as usual at Kayu *I still remember this!!!* when Dave mentioned something that happened to this fat lady. Immediately after he said that, he turned me *I was selamba-ly smoking at the other end of the table and said "OMG PINK I AM SO SORRY". I looked at him and said, "What?" Actually I didn't understand what he was trying to say...

Then it hit me...

He mentioned a fat lady and then realized that I am one myself and he thought he had offended me!

WTF

I mean, really, WTF?

Uh... It would be worth apologizing to me if someone had directly insulted me about my size. But to actually think I'd be offended just because of something like that was utterly stupid.

I know what my size is. Seems to me that he thinks that I really do believe I am a dainty XS size when I am actually XL. I know what I am and I will not be offended if you don't mean it to be offensive.

Me and Seems had a good laugh about it. It's funny how some people are over-sensitive when some can be so super un-sensitive.

Sleep!!

It's lost...

Listening to: Sugababes - Ugly
Feeling: Strangely Bummed

Have you ever seen something familiar and then you think to yourself...

"That should have been mine"

And a wave of annoyance/anger/jealousy/em gam yin-ness/bitterness washes over.

"That really should have been mine... After all, it was because of me you got it in the first place"

Sing for me Angel of Music!!!!!

Listening to: The Phantom of the Opera - Masquerade
Feeling: Missing Home

Oh

My

God!

I really couldn't believe that I had actually gone and watched the Phantom of the Opera. Feels as though I had arrived here on Tuesday *sitting in Changi Airport now. Crappy connection and most prolly our flight will be delayed again...* Can rewind er?

Had been really tempted to subscribe to super expensive hotel wifi services to write about this but had resisted and watched Cartoon Network 2 days straight instead. So much for bringing my laptop for work. Hahah I did nothing but playing Phantom of the Opera soundtrack the whole time it was turned on.

Recap from the day before I left for Singapore. Had a food review.. actually more like a alcohol review. Went to Sky Bar and Luna Bar which we did a shoot on their alcohol and oh my... the shit they came up with was lethal! We had to drink it up so not to waste it... *innocent face 'What? They were gonna throw it away anyway... so why waste it?'* Ended up looking very red and talking louder than I usually do.

I swear to God, if you ever go down to Luna Bar, you have to freaking try the Frozen Space Cookies. It's damn good I wanna lick the glass clean. If you're feeling pissy, try the 'Honey, Burn me up'. Ask for Burn on the bar and call for that one. Trust me, you would wanna try it!!!

Needless to say, it was a happy shoot! Beautiful location and alcohol to numb the work. Loves it!!!

Got home after a short drink with Cin and fired up my computer to check my email for numbers of the driver that will be bringing us around in Singapore and realized that my crappy webmail is fucked so had to run back to the office to check it out. It was prolly around 12.30am and I had yet to pack. I was due to leave for the airport at about 7.30am. That means I have about 7 hours to check my email, go home, shower, pack then sleep. Looks like it's gonna be a crazy flight to Singapore.

Got to the office only to find my mailbox bombed on me. Have to sms the lady in charge to sms me the number. Should have done that earlier but smartass me didn't think about it then. So since I was in the office, decided to stay abit and check my email and delete some shit so it won't bomb again during my 3 day absence. Then at about 1.15am the blinds near my bosses' desk decided to rattle. Well, I guess that means I should leave the office!

Got only 2 hours of sleep in the end. Got to Singapore safely. I love KLIA!!! You go online for free, so while I was waiting in the boarding lounge I was chatting with Sarah N and Gem. The Changi Airport was different though, you have to pay for it. Boo!!!!

Got to Singapore and got ushered into a van that took us to the hotel. Us meaning me and 3 other journalists from various publications *one of them is Seem's friend and the other was Gem's biscuit's good friend. Small world ain't it?* First thing I noticed about Singaporeans are they all abide the rules. We came out from the airport and was going at about freaking 40kmph. Stress mo? I can run faster!!! Then I realized that most of the cars on the road were going at the same rate. Oh well... This is Singapore after all. It was clean and the roads were nice and not bumpy at all. Nice!

The Marina Mandarin was apparently an old hotel that recently got refurbished. It was a beautiful hotel, quite intimidating actually. The middle part of the hotel is the restaurant and lounges so while walking to your room (mine was at the 15th floor) you can actually hear glass clinking and people talking. Then you look down and see all the people, tiny as ants eating and chatting! Bad if you're scared of heights.

Marina Mandarin Hotel Interior
Intimidating ain't it?

From the 6th floor
Abit blurry but that's the lounge area

My room was pretty alright. Even had a little balcony which I figured is a good place to smoke. Turned out to be a bad idea cause it was so warm and muggy the few days we were there I rather close up the windows and breathe in smoky but cool air.

DSCF5495
View from my room

Second thing I realized about Singapore was that people there don't really smoke. Not surprised because they have the goriest of all anti-smoking ads. I was happily enjoying one when this girl came on TV with what looked like pus-filled boils on her lips and she started talking about how she was a heavy smoker. Wow... I guess the shock factor worked cause I snuffed the ciggie right there!

Ekk..

Think happy thoughts now... Strawberries dipped in chocolates to spoil this tired journalist!

DSCF5497
Strawberries with choco! Was kinna dried up when I had it so I kinda left it.

We had a press call on the day we arrived which was kinda rushed as we only had 1 hour to run into our rooms and get lunch. In the end we had McDonalds.

Back to the press call

DSCF5492
Part of the setup in the Esplanade Hall to promote the Phantom.

I know I had whined and moaned countless times about my career in the publishing industry but one look at this made the pain all worth while. Suddenly, there was a light at the end of the tunnel!

DSCF5491
I love my job!

And when I found out that they will be playing excerpts from the show during the press call, I nearly creamed my pants. OMG!!!!

DSCF5483
The gargoyles on the Opera House. Specially flown in!

DSCF5486
This was so exciting I couldn't keep my mouth closed!

They showed Music of the Night, Masquerade and Prima Donna. That already I wanted to tell them to just play the whole show. SO exciting I tell you!!! But we had to keep our pants on and wait till tomorrow.

So what do you do in Singapore I asked.

SHOPPING!!! I was told...

Well, honestly I don't see why they have this fascination with shopping here. They have most of the brands in Malaysia and the shop assistants were nothing to scream about.

Me and another journalist from a newspaper (who was coincidently Seem's friend) walked around Singapore, actually just Orchard Road (though it did feel like we walked the whole Singapore) looking for this particular CD her friend wanted her to buy. I fainted halfway down Orchard and my legs were actually on auto-pilot. I was walking in heels for crying out loud. At that moment I just longed for my car. Or my pair of Crocs. Had bad experience with cabbie, paid equavalent to RM20 for a 5 minute ride. What the fuck!

I love my car.

I had absolutely nothing to do for the next day so decided to go to the nearest shopping mall and look for something to eat.

DSCF5524
That's Hot

I told myself that I HAVE to eat like the locals when I'm there but the food there was crappy and expensive (not to mention tasteless as well) so I opted for Carl's Jr. Hey, after all it was endorsed by Paris Hilton. I had to have it.

DSCF5528
Feel the heart attack

To say that it was huge is the understatement of the year. It was humongous. Bread, chicken patty, bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon, cheese was the order of the day. YUM!

DSCF5529

It was nearly the size of Bigfoot's, well... FOOT!

I have to admit that for the few days I was there, I had fast food 3 quarter of the time...

Another fantastic burger I had in McD's was the Chicken Fan-tastic. Instead of bread sandwiching the burger patty, it was a rice cake... (FAN, geddit? Bloody smart these Singaporeans)

DSCF5531
YUM

Tasted kinda weird at first but it grows on you! I went back for seconds.

DSCF5536
See the vege? It's so healthy. Ignore the gunks of mayo ok?

DSCF5537
Toasted lice~

Stayed in the room the whole day watching Cartoon Network and pigging out.

BLISS!

Then it was showtime! It was the Gala Night apparently, so exciting! Got to the Esplanade Theater earlier so went check out the souvenier shop and found this pretty music box that plays 'Music of the Night' and 'All I ask of you'. It was going for 28 Sing Dollars. Of course I bought it. Impulsively though I have to say. I keep thinking it's dollar to dollar when it's not. Oh well, was pleased I bought it.

Then the show started... I went blank the moment they hauled the chandelier up and the overture started playing. I was too stunned to say anything. It was beautiful! That 3 hours were the best 3 hours of my life!

It was too soon when it ended. I wanted to rewind and watch it again. It was nothing compared to the movie; the intensity of the Phantom (Brad Little) and the helplessness of Christine (Rebecca Pitcher) was amplified. I had to use the cliched word but the atmosphere was electric.

What happened after that was boring, next day came and had to leave Singapore (finally) and get our asses back to KL. God I miss KL food!

That was all to my phan-tastic (couldn't resist) trip to Singapore...

Edit: Just realized that when I was in Hong Kong, Brad Little was playing Phantom there as well. The show only started a day or two after our departure :( but it was fate that I got to watch it in Singapore this time round!!!! :)

Listening to: Rain falling down

Spent the whole of Monday and Tuesday trying to fix some fuckups I did at work in the past week and in the process, only had 8 hours of sleep; two days combined. Will try to get some sleep tonight. Nice that it's raining so I can at least save some energy by not using the a/c.

*Rocky music comes on*

Stupid Diner Dash won't allow me to go past the last round of the second chapter.

My get rich quick scheme

Listening to: Timbaland feat Nelly Furtado & Justin Timberlake - Give it to me
Feeling: Like I really need to go out soon

I'm due for my little catch up session with Charlene but I really have to spit this out first risk me forgetting all about it.

If you scroll all the way to the bottom of this page, you'll see I've joined the rest of the world and submitted myself to the temptations of Adsense.

I've totally forgotten about that due to the change of layout. So today as I was scrolling, I saw it, remembered and decided to log in to my account to check if I've made any moolah from Adsense...

Guess how much I scored?

You won't believe this...

Weirdness in words

Listening to: Mika Nakashima - 一色
Feeling: Bored outta my little mind

Totally inspired by Drama and his recent post felt like doing this as well... So here goes..

いち
I always have to shower after coming back from somewhere. Doesn't matter if I am just popping by down the local 7E or a short yamcha; I need to shower. Just need to! Maybe it was a habit picked from my childhood where my mom insists! Now I just think I am wasting water.

I am a picky eater. Contrary to my size, there are many types of food that I just can't stand eating. Example, fish. Just one day I decided I don't like fish, unless they come uncooked or between buns. Weird... I just stopped eating seafood as well. Except for calamari. And I just abruptly stopped eating durians. It's so weird. Many more I cut off my food list. If I go on, this post will last forever.

さん
I love my face. I really do... Seriously do. I get so much products for my face like cosmetics, masks, cleansers, creams and my recently acquired La Mer cream is like my lifeline now. I love my face to death. Can't say the same for the rest of my body.

よん
I hate branded fashion items. I love cheap cheap shit that I use until its dirty death in my overflowing dusbin. I still love my Crocs no matter what you guys say!!! Sticks and stone might break my bones but my Crocs will never leave me!!!!

Like Drama, I have the freaking attention span of a freaking goldfish. I also have the memory of a floppy disc *not alot* therefore my planner is my love of my life. I can walk over to the Xerox machine for something and end up coming back to my desk with something completely different. I also like a thousand and one things and have that thousand and one things all crammed in my room, collecting dust. Not proud of it but I'll live...

ろく
I always think that I was reincarnated into the wrong body and country. I should have been a Japanese but there was some computer glitch in that big system up there and I ended up in Malaysia where I sweat like a fucking pig and is forever constrained to this... Sigh Big guy up there... hear me out. I wanna be a Japanese in my next life. Thanks..

Thanks Drama, inspire me somemore!!!

Change

Listening to: Maaya Sakamoto - Yubiwa (Acoustic Version)
Feeling: Scared

There might be a new chapter in my life soon. I am afraid to make that change, really. Scared of how I might have to take it. I'll try to be positive but until then..

Until then...

An Obituary

Listening to: James Morrison - The pieces don't fit here anymore
Feeling: Benganged!

Just got sad news from Cher. Louisa, a former college of mine, her brother had just committed suicide today and now the family is trying to look for Louisa as she had shifted out of the family home a year or two back due to differences and arguments with her family.

I don't understand how things can be that bad and it makes me feel helpless when situations like that happens.

So if anyone of you guys out there knows a Louisa who is living with her boyfriend Irwan please do let me know so I can contact her as her family is still trying to locate her.

And as for Lou's bro, rest in peace.

Another one of those 'I have nothing to say' post...

Listening to: Fish Leong - 彩虹
Feeling: Blah

This is like officially the fifth day I've been sick!

Not that I want to bitch about this again but it's so hard when you have a thousand and one things to do at the office and you cannot take that much needed MC. Doesn't help when you have clients you want to kick off the face of the earth to work with.

FUH... Now that's off I feel much better... And off to better things!

It's also officially the end of Chinese New Year today. Me and Cin are planning to end the festivities with a mahjong session. PERFECT! *BTW, G, if you're reading this, don't get jealous ok?*

Chinese New Year is so-so. I guess the older you get, the 'blah'er it is. Ang-pau's been great by the way, but I digress... CNY's not all about angpaus... it's all about the gambling, food, holidays and late nights!!!!!

OK, but I have to admit that the money's great...

I had been wondering why I had not blogged for a long time and even when I do, it's a whole bunch of crap *like now* and I realized, nothing much happened! Life had been day in day out work, work and more work. Is this normal for a 25 year old?

It feels scary that my parents have more life than me now as they go for more social engagements compared to me.

Nuff of bitching... I'm reading Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom now (My fantastic sub-ed loaned it to me after listening to me bitch it was too expensive in the MPH sale. I am so cheap!) and I am pretty much determined to finish it before the day ends. And after that, of course, is Mahjong!!!

More to come! I need to upload pictures before I can continue blogging!
